I have removed my rear end from the car to add a marginal amount of camber and need to get some help on the static position of the bottom of the diff and the pinion at ride height for my setup jig. I forgot to measure this before taking it all apart.

So, if anyone could please help with the following measurements:

1. The vertical distance from the ground to the bottom of the pumpkin right in front of the diff cover.

2. The vertical distance from the ground to the bottom of the companion flange on the pinion (where the driveshaft attaches).

Thanks a bunch guys. I'm looking forward to spectating (but wish I were racing) in a week and a half!!

Err -- given Ford's wonderful tolerances, especially when it comes to sheetmetal, I don't think I'd trust any of those measurements from anyone else's car.

You can simply measure the angle of the tranny tailshaft and set the driveshaft flange to within 2 degrees of that at ride height. That's what I did when replacing the LCA's and installing the torque arm.
