1989 Kenny Brown Outlaw Ford Mustang LX. 41,9xxx original miles. I've known the previous 3 owners - never been hit, no fender benders. Some track miles. The original motor was replaced with a 331 by owner #2, it was removed and slid into an AI car by owner #3, then a stocker was reinstalled, also by owner #3.

power front seats, as well as the blue Design Sport buckets. Bolt in cage

Body - stock LX body with fiberglass 2.5" raised cowl hood.

It comes with:
1. Complete ACC NIB carpet kit. Includes hatch area.
2. Several parts in a box for the rear disc conversion....modified e-brake handle, adjustable prop valve, and ebrake cables (2 sets).

On his birthday (8 Dec 2007), my 17yo son bought this car from David Donovan. Initially, he was all gung-ho about driving a stick. Unfortunately, he hasn't maintained that initial enthusiasm, and the car has sat wayyyyy more than it's been driven.....I think we've put, maybe, ~150mi. So, he's moving to an automatic as a daily driver, especially since we may end up in LA sometime this year.

The car is in the North Dallas TX area - delivery within a 4hr radius is possible with no additional costs (Austin, Houston, OKC, Tulsa). Any further distance is possible, but mileage will apply.

Clear title, in our possession. Passed smog check in Austin prior to sale, good until May 2008.

He paid $6000 (with his own money.....no help from mom or dad), so we're asking $6000, with a loss of a few hundred bucks from the aforementioned parts. Wish I could buy it myself, but that just isn't possible right now. We're not exactly desperate, but we do need to get the car sold in a timely fashion.

Adam, I am assuming you will post this on DFWstangs....you should ask 7 and you would probably get it really fast with that low of miles.

Ugh.....back up for sale. My son wants a newer Mustang.

1989 Kenny Brown Outlaw Ford Mustang LX. We bought it with ~42,000 miles, it now has 45,xxx original miles.

http://www.shrackracing.com/for-sale/89-LX/89lx-2-small.jpg

Specs:

Suspension - stock front LCAs, MM RLCAs, stock RUCA's. Griggs PHB. Koni DA's all the way around.
Brakes - Cobra front brakes, 5 lug drums in back.
Wheels - 2003/2004 Cobra 17x9 rims. Near new tires in front, brand new tires in back.
Interior - clean, excellent condition, all new carpet. Design Sport buckets, stock rear seats. Bolt in cage with main hoop, rear downbars, and front bars that extend along side the seats (removed during the carpet install, but included with sale), Simpson 5pt harnesses. PW, PDL, Sony stereo.
Chassis - Kenny Brown "Extreme Matrix" subs with jacking rails. Aftermarket tubular K-member.
Engine - stock 5.0L EFI, AC, electric fan, stock headers, off-road H-pipe, heater core bypassed, aftermarket exhaust.
Trans - rebuilt AOD w/brand new torque converter (installed Feb 2007)
Rear - stock 8.8 w/2.73 gears.
Mileage - 45,xxx original miles (yes, you read that correctly...a Fox3 with ~45k original miles)
Body - stock LX body with fiberglass 2.5" raised cowl hood.

It comes with:
1. Fox3 bellhousing, block plate, stock 5sp flywheel and used clutch/PP/TOB to convert it back to a 5sp. Original 5sp pedals still in place (clutch pedal covered by carpet). No T5 or shifter included.
2. Several parts in a box for the rear disc conversion....ebrake cables, SN95 axles w/ABS rings, NIB SN95 GT rotors.
3. Used stock Fox3 h-pipe.
4. Additional roll bars that run alongside the front seats. We removed them during the carpet install, and didn't want to put holes in the fresh carpet.

Items replaced within the past ~1000mi:

1. Rebuilt E7 heads - shaved .030, ported, polished, smog bumps removed. Stock rockers.
2. New water pump.
3. New radiator.
4. Linc Mark VIII fan.
5. New battery.
6. New rear tires.
7. New carpet.
8. Complete tune up - plugs, cap, rotor, FMS wires.
9. Oil/filter change.
10. Coolant system flush.
11. New aftermarket water temp and oil pressure gauges installed in center console.

History: bought Dec 2007 in DFW as a 5sp car, converted to AOD in Feb 2007. It's been driven sparingly due to travel and other commitments, trailered to SoCal in Oct 2008.

Engine work completed in Nov 2008, less than ~1000mi driven since ALL the work was done.

Clear TX title, in our possession. Passed TX Dallas smog in summer 2008. Currently located in Ventura CA (93001).

He paid $6000 (with his own money.....no help from mom or dad). We put another ~$1500 into it with the recent work, not including the AOD conversion ($2000...which he paid for himself).

$6800, obo. Transportation is possible, costs negotiable.
