Who is planning to run this event and who is partnering up with who.

I've heard intentions from Glenn, Marshall and Michael, Mitch (?), David Love with Jason Love and Nick Runyon, and myself. Anyone else.

There is a movie by the same name! Look it up as I think it would apply to you! ;)

I am going to run the enduro in my car with Jorge Guerrero. He races a vet in group 7 but also has has a 2000 cobra R and is a mustang guy at heart. The vet is a POS and I almost have him coming back into the light to join us. FMR

Do all you guys drive with hand-controls?
Does it have conventional over-ride?
Sorry for being nosy, just really curious.

PS- I'll be involved in the enduro in many ways whether it is as official, crewmember or driving....I'll be there!

The pedals still work normally with the hand controls in place. You don't want anyone not proficient with them to try them on a road course. I attempted it once for one lap at TWS. Made it around (barely and slowly) and swore never to try it again. Driving with them on the street is one thing, but there is a whole different set of muscles involved when using them on track. I was very surprised.

The setup is very simple. Push the hand control forward for braking and down for throttle. Martin has up and downshift buttons hooked up on the control for the SMG transmission, as well. There is a bracket that connects to the gas and another for the brakes. A rod connects to each bracket. The brake rod is one piece and when you push the brake pedal with your foot the hand control moves forward with it. The rod from the throttle fits into a sleeve that connects to the hand control. When you use the hand control, it moves as one piece. When you are using your foot on the throttle, the rod slides out of the sleeve and the hand control stays stationary. Anyone who hasn't seen the setup, feel free to check it out sometime.
