I am planning to run my car with a not yet announced co-driver who is a bit rusty and crashed last time he drove his race car at TWS - but I'm sure he will work out ok - I hope.

Crew members wanted/needed as some of those who have stated interest in helping are starting to back out.

Call me to discuss at 281-413-1948.

you do know there are no 3 digit numbers allowed in the enduro. its in the rules.

Well, that would pose an interesting question...how is race control policing similar numbers on so many different classes of cars? Can Clifton chime in with an entry list and numbers that are known to date?

Sounds like there is going to have to be a large coordination/drivers meeting at the track for this single run group to pull it off...?

you only have to worry about duplicate numbers in the same class, i think.
and your not required to put your enduro class marking on your car.

i can see how this could be a problem. i also wonder how the lack of a working timing loop on pit road will affect all this.

Cant speak to the timing loop in pit lane, but I can about the numbers thing. Remember we dont enforce unique numbers in run groups already, so this is not new to NASA. Car number is therefore only one of the identifiers control and corner workers use to identify a car. Typical call includes number, color, model: 70 silver camaro, 17 blue mustang, etc. While I would agree having unique numbers would make it easier, the futility of policing that dictates a solution that is not dependent on it.

Now back to the enduro teams...

I do not have a problem with 3 digit numbers. Frank, you will not have to change anything in that regard.

I am working on a list of cars that are interested in the event. I hope to post it tonight. The entry form should be online in the next few nights. There is an entry deadline for the Enduro. You will not be able to enter the Enduro at the event.
