We're looking for input regarding the May event race format.

1. 4, 20 minute races

2. 2, 20 minute races, and 1, 40 minute race.

Please keep in mind - there are no guarantees this can/will happen, and, this is not a vote. We are simply gauging interest.

Any chance for 3 20 minute races and 1 40 minute race? :D

Somebody must have gotten a cool suit hooked up?!

Even though I roasted two tires in the 40 minute race, I like the idea of fewer races, less drops and going home to dallas much earlier. :P

I agree, does this count as a write-in vote

how about a compromise - 4 races with one a 30 minute race? We had a 40 last event to help racers gather data for the nationals, but maybe if we push for a 30 minute race, NASA TX good squeeze it into the schedule without cutting out one of the 4 races?

Now there's an idea! I like Mike's suggestion also.

Do you have any idea what time we would end up leaving the track if we ran a 20 min race and a 40 min race on Sunday?

I'm game, but that will put us Dallas boys and Girls home very late I would think. :-(

I'd prefer the 40 min race on Saturday if possible, give folks a break going home as JG pointed out. Hey, you guys wanted to practice for nationals, lotsa late night long-distance driving to/from that event!

I agree, I look forward to the 40 min races. I want to see how many times I can pass Jeff Brooks. ;-) Just teasing!

I would like to see us do a 40 min race on Sat and one on Sun.

I will be just happy if I make it through the first race on Sat. I may have a ton of new car blues.

Hey, I'd rather do 4 races first, added length is just a bonus for my $300 bones.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the next event. Clutch got replaced so hopefully the CMC car is ready to make the distance.

What?! I gotta try everything I can short of letting the air out of your tires right?! :P

Honestly, I think this next event is going to be a lot of fun for the AI group. The old vets have stepped it up, the capps cars should be there and seem to be fast but they don't know the track, you have a rocketship but hopefully will still be dialing it in, Richard P and Chris M are always cranking away at something new and I will get to start from my qualifying spot this time! If I can keep my shoe on the brake pedal this time, we should have a lot of fun in the AI group!

Any chance of separate AI and CMC run groups!

At the rate CMC is growing, you AI guys might find yourself back in the closed wheel group when we don't need your car count anymore.
