ok - as normal around here, the topics got way off and pretty long.
so what are the after hours plans?
Friday?
Saturday? are the RM guys still gonna cook out? do we need to bring our own stuff to have cooked? sides? beer?
we still gonna show the 2008 YIR vid? i'm sure we can shoot it onto a trailer.
so who has sound for this?
a projector?
a DVD playing device?

as long as I don't have to bring rain tires, I can bring speakers, DVD player and stereo to wake up the turtles in Veronica Lake. My crew bailed so I have some extra room in the cab of the truck. All we need is a projector that can accept the yellow RCA video input and we are covered.

Bring TX beer because the water'd down OK stuff sucks...bring chairs, bug spray, soap and bathing trunks with flip flops.

JJMight be middle 80's but it's showing scattered showers from tuesday till Saturday... Hence, you DON'T want to go off the track and get in the grass. At the mid america event last year, I watched 6 GT350R's go off BAD in the vintage exhibition and into the tire walls in the wet grass/mud. LOTS of damage.

I have both Gone in 60 Seconds' (the original chase scene is better in my opinion), Mad Max, The Blues Brothers and maybe a couple of others. We can just show the "highlights". I'll bring what I have.

We can shoot on the side of my motorhome if we want, but I don't have a projector.

If you bring a projector, I have a stereo, speakers and portable DVD player... as long as the projector has an RCA video input, (round yellow plug), that is all you need. I have the cables to make it happen. We will only need to make sure to have power and a power strip with atleast 6 outlets in it!

Will just need a little help to carry stuff to and from the truck for setup.

Yea! That makes it easy. Projector has both RCA and s-video. I can also bring a power strip.

It's a fact of racing! I actually welcome it now! I have had over 6 hours of track time this year alone in the wet. Bring it!!!!

FYI for you AI guys.....there was a certain AI driver that spent the whole weekend getting in lots of good cheatin bastard time at Halett. Ran a match race and some impressive lap times. The car and trailer are still at the track. Better bring your A game!

Well, I've got my full rain tires ready as well as my intermediates, a set of scrubed tires, and a set of fog tires.

Thankfully they are all currently mounted on the same rims. :)

While it isn't an action packed movie and is a little slow I suggest "The World's Fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins. After watching it I want to attend a Salt Flats event.
