do we wanna try and plan a Saturday night sit down dinner for the group?
doesnt Rudy's BBQ have a party room?
or would just placing an order for 10 large pizzas to be delivered to the track be a better option?
thoughts?

please do. i'm pretty sure C/S in Aug is gonna be two things - hot and humid. so something inside would be nice.

But, although I would guess I have 1000+ laps around there, not a one of them CW :)

I'm ready to go also. Spent about 30 minutes today blowing out the radiator, putting air in the tires, and checked all fluids. I just need to make a little camber adjustment and I'll be 100% ready. :D

It's almost done Glen. T-tops replaced and window net done yesterday. Hopefully, I will have the fire system and cutoff switch done tomorrow. One way or another, it will be done. No promises on it being very pretty, but it will be done.

Wow! Jay and I both have two or three weekends of DE going CW. I hope it helps. Turn seven goes from being easy going CCW, to very hard to see going CW. The track falls away from you. For me CW was harder on the brakes than running CCW. If I remember, lap times are faster CW than CCW.

Make sure you over fill the oil sump if you don't run an Accusump or road race oil pan.. Ask Jay how I know. The centrificle (SP) force on the oil through turn two then one are great. I don't want to win because you all blow up.

CW track is faster (if you do it right) and harder on brakes. Flow is better.

Had lots of offs in 15, 14, 13 this weekend from people misjudging how much speed they could carry. Lots of brake squeal by the end of sessions. Had people leaving early because they ran out of brakes and tires sooner than they expected. Had lots of overheating issues because of the ambient temp (105 early this afternoon). Be prepared! Bring spares and LOTS of water.

Sure felt like a lot hotter that 105 yesterday. I have a good tan now...

Rudy's only books the patio as a party room and it's booked for Saturday night. They did say that it shouldn't be a problem to get enough table space for everyone. They suggested sending someone on ahead to do a land grab.

Wanna just do that or should I find something else?

I cut over on the north side of Waco-much shorter to get over to 6 I think. Can't remember the exit-will have to call glenn/mitch.
Call me 817 368-2523-leave message as I am prepping car/loading in hopes that I can go-right now I am plannin to head out this afternoon.

I vote Rudy's land grab.

And no ordering a sandwich this time. Weak! Rudy's is about ordering meat by the POUND! Top it off with a salad (ie, pickles and onions) and your good to go.

I'm looking foward to my first NASA event (HPDE) and looking foward to meeting you guys as I am planning to run CMC (oh sorry.. CMC2.. or whatever) at some point next season.

Just so ya know, i'm going to be the guy asking way too many questions and looking over every inch of your car (maybe taking pics too), just ask Daron and Mason..

If ya'll dont mind, I would like to join ya'll tomorrow evening (Rudy's sounds good to me, but I have to get a Koppe burger at some point this weekend)
