I thought there was a way to see the pre-registration list for an event. Is this just my imagination?

Are there any discounts at local hotels around TWS?

Thanks guys.

i'm sure no one here is gonna make practice suck for her.
i'm sure everyone will be nice to her on track.
i'm sure the first 3-4 guys who grid in front of her will not drive 3-4 wide on the track at 20 mph for 20 minutes. am i right?
i hate to have to slap you on the rist...... urrr, ummm i mean through the book at you if you do.
i hope we are clear on this.

she told me that list was only the online registrants. a new list would come out w/ all the fax registrants added to it. point is, there are folks missing on that list.

How do you see the list. I ma registered in AIX because I don't have a dyno yet, but the car should be right on for AI.

Ledfoot-just sign up for CMC2 and ask for an under the table handshake deal from todd :D

Seriously-you might be able to run AI and just have your hood sealed like I saw Todd do to DD in Houston this year?

Bryan is correct. but if your over on power or under on weight (same thing) you will be DQ'ed.

Thanks for the advice guys. Maybe I'll just run CMC and swear it is an LT1 car with a LS1 front clip....would that fly? Oh, and those Hoosiers are really just really worn out Toyo's.

Realistically, I don't think I am going to make the race at Eagle's Canyon, so the points won't really matter.

Next Year is a different story. Hopefully, the car will be fully sorted for a good AI run.

Be sure to take advantage of the scales at the track if you haven't already weighed the car...

That's a good point. I know the car has some additional weight that can come out of it, but I think it is going to more of a heavy/powerful car rather than a light car.

I see Burch, Wirtz, both Robertsons, Jordan, Proctor, and Kinman signed up. I have them plus Warren, Landrum, and li'l Mosty (I added you) for garages. If you are missing from either of these lists, you may want to talk to Jessica or register.

I got about 8 laps with the aero at Hallett. Nothing at TWS yet. The car is still at Cresson.

BTW, anyone know where to find a load cell dyno in the D/FW area?

What is a load cell dyno?

rpoz27
07-30-2008, 10:24 PM
An inertia dyno is a passive drum that is driven by the wheels of the car, which is what we use for our annuals. A load cell dyno is capable of driving the wheels of the car, so you can put the car on the dyno, get it where you want it according to RPM or MPH and the drum of the dyno will maintain whatever you set it at. Also called a rolling road dyno. Want to use one to duplicate the Camaro's gremlin and see if we can trace it down.

Evryone noticed that we are gridding on the North end of the paddock and not next to the snack bar, right?

rpoz27
07-31-2008, 05:04 PM
Yes. The north end will be grid. We're trying something like at Hallett except no one will have to back in to a space.
