Hey guys. Here is short video from the TWS race. Sorry about the quality, it is my first shot with a new program. The TA was running horribly, but still got some good track time. If you watch the speedometer, you can see I was hitting about 130 on the straight. The car should be doing over 150. I have some cam issues that need to be worked out. But you can still get the idea.

It was nice to meet everyone.

This will be the "before" video. Like the picture of the fat girl before she takes the herbal suppliment that magically makes her lose 100lbs. The car will be much quicker next time. As for the driver....that is a more difficult task.

Alamo Autosports via Mike Patterson sent Glenn an interesting little video camera for him to try out over the weekend.

It's about the size of a deck of cards, records AVI files directly to an SD card and comes with all kinds of nifty mouting gadgets that work absolutely great.

Nice job, cool vid for sure.

No doubt ... it's the Jeff Wirtz Show! 8)

Every clip recovered was nothing but a screen full of the blue and white 19 car.

Very Cool!!!!

Did you ever figure out what was causing the waviness in the picture?

Yes.

We've had it analyzed by top scientists and engineers from several countries and the concensus is that it's sound waves being rippled as the 4th gen F-Body rockets through the air.

I think its probably more likely massive air turbulance caused by the #19 moving so quickly to take the "fast line".....SERIOUSLY that car has mad handling (and the guy driving it ain't too bad either).

Nice vid Mitch!

Stop harrassing Glenn in an attempt to coerce or extort me into doing the YE video.

As Eric and David know and probably Jeff, it takes a monumental amount of time to put together something like what you are used to seeing.

The 4 minute Nickleback vid took me 8 hours from beginning to end. And that's because the raw footage was already in AVI format. Double that if I had to capture it from tape.

So, sorry guys. I just don't have that kind of time.

Awesome job Mitch!!! Very nice and enjoyable to watch.

Kudos

If you start now on the YE... it wouldn't be that bad, right? :D :D :D

BTW.. the camera is awesome and something I had been looking for back in the day. It really makes the shots much, much better!

Ok, back to my needlepoint.

Thanks Eric. And like I told you numerous times, thank YOU and thank your family for the countless hours you spent piecing together the VarnerVids.

A few of us here realize the kind of commitment in time and effort it takes to accomplish what you did.

There is about 300 man hours in building LAW Chassis #4. That is far less time than you or david spent putting together YEVs
