Anyone had luck getting one piece cast rims straightened? Two of the GTAs I have been running have some wobble on them. Enough I notice it when they are on the car and enough they don't want to balance.

I checked Wheels America because I know they offer discounts to racers, but it looks like it will be ~ 100 per rim. That seems to be close to the going rate for GTA fronts, but if I tried to just buy more, I'm just taking chances again that the new ones will not also need work, and then I will need to do all the clean up on them again anyway, so it seems like the prices is working out close either way...

Anyway, anyone have a good or bad doing this?

Had them straighten a few of Martin's SSRs a couple of years ago. Worked fine.

:D
I presently have 12 front GTAs.
Some are perfect, some a little off.
I've spun them all and re-sold the ones I felt unacceptable.
Buy/sell till you get some.

There is a set of new Circles on scca forums in A/S.

Really nice 12# rims. Polished so nice they look like chrome.
$500 for the set.
16x8 in 3rg gen offset. Custom made.
But wait, they're too liight for AI Lights that allows 4 piston Wilwood brake setup with floating rotors LOL!

Thanks Misty, good info to know. I will not ask how something as pimp as SSRs needed to get fixed ;)

JB, thanks for the link on the Circles. For that price I bought them. I will add enough wheel weights to get them up to the CMC minimum.
