Mid March weather in North Texas can be just about anything imaginable. Who will be in Cresson to race in what the good Lord sees fit to provide us?

I'll be there with plaid Bermuda shorts and a parka.

Was it windy Saturday?

Windy? Two porta-johns took a tumble.
Maybe the ballast Of someone inside would have helped hold 'em down.

If I were to title a movie about yours and my racing at Houston, I would call it "Jerry is a vanishing point"

Me too...

I will actually be on a work trip the week before with me not getting back to DFW until 5:00pm on that Friday.

I think my super wife is going to pull my race car and pick me up at the airport. :)

WOW!!!!!! She is a super wife.

That is certainly a front runner for wife of the year award.

I need her to calibrate Debbie ...

Now if she could hook up the trailer, get the car loaded, etc. that would be the wife of the century! :)

I'm planning on being there at the moment. Work is trying to get in the way but I think I can manage that.

I want to retry my spin and win plan, Rob wrecked my plan last event :(

Yep... I may ride a park and ride van to a location easier for her. Not decided about that yet.

Looks like I will be there for Saturday at least. One more time with my NASA Texas family :)

Matt, you gotta make it...on a 1.7 mile track you can at least take the challenge of trying to lap me :P

I think Sunday is a no-go but I am planning to bring the smoker along on Saturday to make up for my absence on Sunday.

Plus...I don't think I can do another all-brat Saturday...buuuuurrrrrp.

Ribs 'n' spuds for my racing buds! Maybe a brisket too. :)

I doubt that would happen. I have rarely caught the end of the cmc field in a 20 minute race. A 40 is a different story. ;)

Just too many things to finish and I start traveling for work 3 or 4 days a week on Monday. Just not alot of time to work on it. It may look like Burch's car with different colored panels and such but you never know.

Sounds good! :D

I can't do another brat-a-thon eating contest w/ Glenn, that hurt the next day. I think I burped in my helmet during one of the races and almost knocked myself out.

Things are looking up for the TFR Camaro. She ran for longer than 5 seconds tonight for the first time in a month since I started working on it. I won't have anywhere near everything done that I had planned but I'm just looking forward to getting on the track and seeing everyone.
Procter-I sure hope it isn't cold next weekend cause I don't have my heater anymore.

Hadn't touched the car since ECR. Took at the hvac and started looking at removing wiring. Then the car wouldn't stay running-some vats issue. And now it runs without the fuel enable wire hooked to anything.

It doesn't say in the rules that you can remove the flux capacitor.

I need another set of protest forms ...

He already has a set filled out after taking too much out of my front bumper support.

Taco-could you take me around the track on Friday to show me the wetline please? I have never been on a wet track.

GlennCMC70
03-08-2009, 09:27 PM
there is no wet line at MSR-C. its the slickest track in the country hands down when its wet. its just had too much use while wet to have a really good wet line. just to compair for those who may know, Mid Ohio has monster grip when wet compaired to MSR-C.

As slick as that track was several years ago in the rain... I can't even imagine how slick it would be now in the rain.

I'll be sure to have batteries in both cameras and plenty of recording material so I can record all the dancing in front...as I spin right 'round, baby, right 'round
