It is my privilege and my honor to announce that myself and Mike Patterson are forming The LAW to compete the rest of the season in CMC2.
The National office was petitioned to get a one time CCR 22.4.2 waiver allowing formation of a team AFTER a team member had raced in the season's first race.
Based upon unforseen, extenuating circumstances, Mike will be returning to Texas very soon and this will allow him to rejoin the Texas racing family and also allow him to run enough races to qualify for Nationals.
The National office saw no issue and granted the request.
I informed the regional coordinator of our intent and there was no concern on his part. I do, however, want to make sure there are no concerns with my competitors, other than being afraid ... VERY afraid!
The LAW will be at round 2 with zero points. The points earned by me at MSR-H will stand under my name, but I will not be racing individually for the remainder of the year. I will only race under The LAW.
