Michael and I were talking about how we (AI-CMC) have been last or near last to run most race weekends so far this season. Is there a way for us to get Clifton to schedule us to run right after lunch on Sunday so we can stat home first? Fair is fair and I think it's our turn.

That would really help the Rocky Mtn folks, or at least the AI/CMC portion of the RM contingent.

Group 4 was first on the schedule at Cresson.

The issue is that you are getting 4 races compared to 3 for some other groups. When you have 4 races your second race on Sunday will be after the only race for Groups 5 & 6.

I have always put this group first on the schedule at the Hallett event when the Rocky Mountain Region is involved. This year we also have the Midwest Region involved and my thought process hasn't changed. The group rotation will most likely be 4, 7, 5, 6.

CW,
Are there any thoughts in regard to a different set of classes?

May need two "Thunders". One "fast" and one "slow" due to the number of cars.
Where will all the RM 4-bangers that are coming class?
How many Pinatas are coming.
DEers?

I'm sure things will change as registration begins.

Thank you, Sir.

Clifton, I will be at the event but will not be racing. I will be around to help Jonathon during group 4 Tech. Let me know if you are shorthanded or need help elsewhere. Just need a decent warning so I can freshen up on the CCR's if need be.

When is the schedule usually released? I'm not putting any pressure on dear ol' Clifton, but family members are asking. Just curious when I can tell them to expect it.

WHERE IS THE FREAKING SCHEDULE ALREADY?????????

There will be a big announcement made next week about the Fun/Grudge Race. It will be a positive for the racers, NASA, and charity.

Why so late clifton? Hallett is less than 2 weeks away. How about a hint...

Prolly because there will be an entry fee involved is my guess.
And, if they divide group 4 up that kills it.
Just speculation tho.

It's all good. Most likely a 5 or 10 dollar donation put in a hat and delivered straight to the charity. It won't change entry fees. There are a few details to work out and one conference call to make next Wednesday. This program will bring a lot of publicity to the drivers involved while benefiting a worthwhile charity.

No reason to split anything, yet. And this will be open to all classes, split start, car swapping, inverted, clean racing. Or what ever you decide. That's the "Fun" part.
