Its my first time to Hallett & I’m coming up to Dallas Thursday night. What’s the quickest way to the track from the Dallas area? I was thinking of getting to Denton on Thursday night & heading north from there early Friday.

Thanks in advance,
Rene

No need to go to I-35...just longer. Take 75/69 up to the tollroad and up to Tulsa and out west to Hallett/Jennings.

Beware to all, Most of 75 is down to 1 lane in both directions between the casino and McAlester. Figure an extra 30 minutes if there is an issue.

Also, Much of southern OKC and Norman are under construction, bypass it if you can.

I-35 to 44 (Turner Turnpike) east. go north on 99 (Stroud) to Hallett.
the track is on the south west corner of 99 and 412.

I drove the 69/75 route two weeks ago after vacationing in Eureka springs.

That route is definitely 30 or so miles shorter. But there are numerous towns with traffic lights that will eat away any time and fuel economy advantage the shorter route offers.

A couple areas of construction will take you down to 40mph for 10 or so miles.

If you are on the east side of Dallas, then it's probably your best route.

If you are mid-cities or west, 35 to OKC and then 44 (toll road) to 99 north.

From Denton, it's a 4 hour pull at normal speeds.
