ps, what happened to the description of piston diameter in the rules?
Newer pbr's were described/allowed for fords only?
38mm vs 40 or 44mm?

On the anal-retentive side:

The Ford version of the caliper brackets are dimensionally the same as the GM brackets except for the bolt size (12mm vs. 14mm).

The later PBR calipers use a slightly larger diameter pistion than the early PBR calipers (38mm vs. 40) This will cause a small shift in bias and pedal feel.

The later PBR calipers also have a different thread pitch for the fluid line. Might require a different banjo bolt.

The later PBR calipers are a different casting than the early Corvette, 1LE calipers with much more bracing in bridge area. This makes for a better caliper but with some wheel fittment issues possible.

The '06 rulebook used to say I couldn't use the 40mm.

I can deal with the hardware changes.

You didn't mention the bling paint and the ponies on the side 8)

Thx RP.

My guess is helping Boudreux with his car... Jeff would never give in to the "parity" of a mustang! ;)

Summoned by the Emperor to have a look under the hood of a TIE fighter.
Seems the rewire has taken an extra millinium to finish.
