Not too early to start thinking about the 2010 Rolex 24...

Here's an in-car turn by turn instruction in a GT500.
Lap 1 describes the turns...Lap 2 at speed.

How many Texas AI/CMC Snorers can you fit into a motorhome?

...and if you missed last weekend's Grand Am race at Daytona, here's a 4 minute recap video of the highlights.

Car count was down a bit...but great racing action.
(I'm a little worried about Max Angelleli now...see the end.)

I dunno ... looks like he's a perfect fit for a drop-top Mustang ...

who has a donor car? what would it cost? what an awsome feat to field an AI/CMC car for the event... I'll put in at least the $1,500 donated to LiiR... who is willing to take the time to put it together... who cares how we finish... how cool would it be to make the event... I have an 89 mustang or a 85 camaro and way too much time if the group wants to make the effort...

Weeellllll.....I was talking more about spectating and enjoying the week's experience. Couldn't really field an AI/CMC car unless it was a newer model, as they have eligible makes, models & YEARS...and it generally gets cut off after they are a few years old.

See if Skip Smith is still using his S197. Maybe we could borrow it just for the weekend. That car may be able to be tweaked for Koni Challenge with some Fundage...

....may be best to walk before we run. An exploratory trip to live the weekend would make us better prepared for the future.
