I'd reserve comment until you see/run a modern RA1.
AJ still has many '08's in 16's.

I'm very glad that NASA finally listened to the racer's voice. The 888 is by far inferior in all aspects of it's performance as compared to the RA1 that we have all grown to love for their temperment, lifespan, and price.

Way to go NASA... and Toyo!!!

Now I need to figure out the hot ticket to run two 888's and two RA1's for next years enduro... hmmm.

I would think you want him to stay on 888's...If he gets on RA1's, you guys might as well not show up! ;)

David, I am about to have 4 dismounted that might have a weekend left in them. YOu can have them if you are up in this direction or could arrange transport. I hope to have them off this weekend. I actually have 6 but you saw what I was doing to the rear two! LOL!!!

Maybe not if I show up! ;)

One is pretty thin, but 3 other 3 could get by just fine. I will be sure to have them off this weekend...I got to mount up my other new RA1's anyway in prep for sept. I will send you a PM when they are off.

For clarity, which sizes are bring supported - 255/16 and 275/17 ? Do we know that yet?

I was wondering the same thing. The PR lists many classes with many different tire sizes.

I dont know about others, but the current spec sizes for CMC, CMC2 and AI will be available in RAI form. Not sure about what this will do to prices or if r888s will continue as well.

Just read in GRM that SCCA also announced that it is re-tiring Spec Miata... RA1's all around.
