What are the top racing/car websites/forums that you guys visit where NASATX can place banners etc. to be added as a site sponsor.

Such as LS1tech.com or CamaroZ28.com

Reply to this thread and we'll develop a top 4 or 5 list for AICMC.

Feel free to add in other ones for Miatas, BMWs, etc. that you populate based on other cars that you own (corvetteforum.com, bimmerforums.com).

Other series people will be compiling their lists soon.

Thanks

Let me add ...

The sites you suggest should have a strong LOCAL following and have a reasonably active Handling and Suspension, RR/AX, Texas Events segments.

Remember, this is bang for the buck kind of stuff.

LS1Tech.com
Ferrarichat.com
FRRAX.com

Its an national/international site but I used to visit MyMustangSite.com quite a bit - run by a guy in Houston if I remember correctly - not sure if that is enough "local" or not.
DallasMustangs is very local - has more drag/street racing following.

Don't really have time to frequent any sites other than this one frankly anymore.

When we first got AI/CMC underway back in 2003, I began searching local and not-so-local websites to post our race writeups and upcoming events. The list is below - you'll likely find a few dead links, and it's not as up to date as it used to be due moving laptops, HD crashes, etc.

Thanks Adam. I knew that was out there somewhere.

Which ones are the most populated these days, and which do we want on our shortlist.

Adam... your promotion of the series is outstanding!! thank you!! I find old race writeups in the weirdest places... you took the time to do a good writeup with pics and mentioned sponsers and you posted them in places where it was FREE!!! I don't know why this ball got dropped....

Thanks, David. Lot's of work, but it rewarded us with increased car counts.

I don't know why this ball got dropped....

Ask your regional Series Director.

TAMSCC.org would be a good place to spread the word. A lot of us have background and autocross experience with A&M.

I actually met Mitch and Glenn over at:

http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/

Mitch posted a video of him spinning as a result of Mike Patterson instructing him at MSRC and I wanted to go do that. :D

Mike: "Stop lifting through Ricochet."

Mike: "Stop lifting through Ricochet."

Mike: "Stop lifting through Ricochet."

Mike: "Stop lifting through Ricochet."

So, I followed his learned advice and looped it.

Mike: "OK, so what did you learn?"

Me: "To lift going through Ricochet."

Life-long friends ever since.

It's hard to pee stepping on the "thing".
