Thanks Mike and appreciate the effort.
Will garages only be offered on Fridays?

It's not a typo. I realize that the weekend garage thing is missing, I don't have the fee for it at the moment, and will add it when I find out.

Hence - preliminary

:)

Generally TWS will allow your Friday Garage Fee to cover the weekend.
They will also try and give you the place you will be in for the whole weekend so you dont have to move.

I've always paid the $30 to NASA. If we are able to pay the $25 on Friday that is great. Please keep us posted, thanks.

last year they had me on a different garage on Friday than I did for the weekend, but luckily the guy that had my spot for the weekend was cool with letting me stay there and taking the other spot. It's all Misty's fault I'm sure :P

Do not twist what is going on with the garages. There is a fee to NASA for the garage weekend, separate from Friday.

Will we have the combo AI(X)/CMC/2 mega party garage again?

Can I pit there this year?

Anyone here entering the 6-hour enduro?

If we found a way to do a 1.5 hour or 2 hour enduro later in the year would anyone here enter?

Anyone going for the Supersize TT?

If I wasn't helping in the enduro I would think about it. I think the car is almost reliable enough now to take the chance.

Might be useful extra track time at Hallett.

Definately be willing to do a 1-2 hr enduro later. I was nutz thinking my heavy ass car would make it 6hrs so I ain't gonna make that one....but 2 hours..I think BFP could do that if I go on a diet ;)
Car is already doing back-to-back sessions with Kyri driving so no Supersize until we get car #2 built - hopefully next year pending video game sales ;)

Please get your registrations submitted, especially if you plan on running the enduro. If we don't have enough pre-registered enduro cars, we may have to dump it and revert to a normal weekend schedule. I would be disappointed if this were to happen.

Thanks

I'd entertain a mini-enduro later in the year, but I'm out until EC with family obligations. So, really depends on the event date.

you can register for just the garage - I've done it every TWS event as I always seem to forget about them until AFTER I've gotten through the process the first time

I'd recommend that so they don't sell the spot to someone else...

Definitely get the garage spots reserved BEFORE the event. They have always done a great job of pitting us all in the same garage but every once in a while a pesky Miata or MR2 gets tossed in the mix.

Damn, I'm so excited! What do we have 6 or 8 cars this year?

I am sorry. I know some of you love this event. it's just if you are not in it it's a long boring day. What is there in a normal weekend 70-100 drivers.....maybe more? How many doing the enduro........less than 20. I really have no issue with an enduro but I do not like it on MY race weekend. I only get away to drive the race car six weekends a year and I want every minute I can get. Already lost one race at Cresson to the oil down.

I doubt many have the sack to say they do not like the enduro on a race weekend but I bet it's 80% of the drivers. If the event had grown every year I may feel different but unless there are 20 cars why are we doing this? After two years the enduro should be able to stand on it's own or go away.

No offence enduro drivers. Not your fault the event has not grown.

As for your feelings towards the Enduro being run on a regular event weekend... Have you shaed your feelings w/ NASA TX, Jay, Shannon?
If not, you should. The folks here have no say in it and your pissing up a rope by posting it over here.
I too would love to do this on a non points race weekend.

JJ

You needing some CBP to get your sack on?

Half day is $115 according to Patterson's schedule. But on TWS website last week it only showed full day at $215. Or supersize TT for $100.

As for Happy Hour-that will start Saturday afternoon at the midpoint of the Enduro. And it will cost you a 12 pack of BL bottle's.
