Well guys, here it is:

Pull 1 - 232.20 w/ 284.17
Pull 2 - 234.22 w/ 286.39
Pull 3 - 232.29 w/ 285.24

Air/Fuel was 14.5.

I'm going to increase fuel pressure from 34psi to 38-40 psi and that should just about do it. Also going to scale it this weekend.

No wonder my 204 RWHP beast couldn't keep up with you! :)

Watching the fast guys pull away when I had equal or even higher corner exit speeds was really frustrating this last weekend. It's amazing what being down 25-30 HP can do to your ability to compete.

Late brake is your only option. Of course, at Hallett that's pretty much a gamble on a high stakes table compared to MSRH lol.

I gotta give props to Boudy.
This guy busts off a 131:310 in race 4 at HMRC finishing 5th!
That's pretty baddass for his 2nd race of his 1st weekend of racing.

Way to go Boudy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Them other rookies are lucky you're getting a late start.

Amazing what a belly full of Margaritas and a ton of horsepower will do? ;)

Say Boudy, what did it weight with you in it?

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kudos and I hope it wasn't a blessing of beginner's luck. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator is now installed so I can forfiet 3 to 5 ponies. Next time I do well, MR. COOKE   , you'll only have the ritas to blame. hehe...

As for weight, I didn't get to it yet. I have to borrow some scales. I will post as soon as I get it done.

Finally got my hands on some scales.

Total Weight: 3140 w/me, helmet, and 1/2 tank of fuel.

Not included: Firesuit, gloves, Cool Shirt, radio gear, water and ice in Cool Shirt chest.

May re-dyno on Wednesday if I can get an appointment.

Yeah, I'm a bit lite for current dyno number. I was running too lean so I bumped fuel from 34 to 40 PSI. How many HP should that cut from my numbers?

Glenn, can you come out on Wednesday if I can get in? It's Speedtech.

Boudy,
You "may" pick up some HP and TQ with more fuel. Last year I picked up 8HP and 14TQ going from 13.5-14.0 A/F to 12.5-13.0 A/F

I went from 249/275 to 258/288 all in going from 38psi to 43psi on 19lb injectors.

You may want to pull your timing back to 11-12 BTDC to get a little out of it.

Or, tap the throttle body for a "throttle stop" set screw. Basically you limit the throttle blade to less than 100% WOT. Policing this "may" be difficult, but could probably be taken care of with some "torque seal" or other marking paint post dyno.

 Awe maann. Now I be gettin' konfoosed. Maybe I should just add ballast and run the damn thing. My dyno sheets are at the shop so I'll see what timing is set at in the morning. Either way, 14.5 air/fuel scares me so if fixing that causes another issue, I guess I'll just cross that bridge then.

Thanks for the tip.

more fuel and pressure will equal more torque and hp....personally, I would run the a/f around 12.5 to build a fat torque curve and drop the timing 2-3 degrees to pull power back. Looks like you got a good motor there man!!!

With enough restriction, I can get down to those numbers.

But I have to carry more weight just because ....

Talked to Speedtek today, dyno is still broken. They hope to have it repaired in the next couple days.

Call Hpp racing in lewisville... www.hppracing.com

Ask for Manny, Wade or Ozzie and tell them Matt White told you to call. Ask what their schedule looks like and see if they can squeeze you in. They are REALLY busy but might be able to accomodate.

Thanks Matt. I'll may have to call them. Though, I'd like to keep with the same machine if I can.

Thanks Matt. I have an appointment on Monday @ 11:30 with HPP. Speedtek just doesn't seem to be interested in fixing their money maker.

I asked him if it would be fixed by next Wednesday and his reply was, "I can let you know on Wednesday." Geeze....

no reason to start a new post.
i dyno'ed again saturday. my average #'s are below 231hp and 301tq.
no changes made since before april MSR-C and no reason for this dyno other than "just to be on the safe side".
see you guys and gals in a few days.
