Anyone have a good go by or website link for removing the ac system components from a SN95 Stang? The shop manual is pretty vague. I have the ac eliminator pulley to install I'm just not sure exactly what I can and can't remove from the car to shed weight. As always thanks for any guidance. Pictures greatly appreciated!!

5.0 or 4.6?

With my 4.6 I just pulled the entire system out and installed the pulley and never had any issues. The only thing the ecu does is shut off the compressor at wide open throttle and if its not there the ecu doesn't care. FMR

4.6. I am just not completely sure of what all the components are. The shop manual diagrams are VERY vague.

Compressor, lines, one or two swirl pots, outside radiator, interior condensor and fan (all part of the heater core box), and any electrical switches and relays. Just get medieval on it. Its very cathardic. FMR

My build is more lethargic than anything right now.

Just get medieval on it. Most excellent.
