The Pedersen/Marvel shot is interesting... no front aero??? or so it appears.

We have found some interesting things with the data acquisition. Aero helps in the corners but adds drag. Since we are also overweight, dumping the weight of the aero gets us closer (but not all the way) to our dyno numbers. It's all a trade off.

At TWS, the best configuration for us is...

During my testing I found that if I reduce the extension of my front splitter by about 3 inches the drag is reduced. Although when I dial in a little more wing the effects of the shorter splitter void each other out. I tried to run two rear wings, but the down force was too much and the front tires would lift off the ground at the end of the straight, it was difficult to turn down the hill with that set up.

I will no be bringing any aero to TWS either... I'm glad I did some testing...

Funny, just yesterday at our backyard gathering we were discussing aero and I used the "rob Peter to pay Paul" analogy - and that aero only works if you can rob mroe from Peter than you have to pay to Paul ....

Having driven AI91 at TWS the other week, I can hazard a guess at the configuration it will show up with in August ;)

This also depends on the quality of aero that you are using! ;-)

For great example the new G-Stream wing.

Good luck at TWS guys!

He can have mine...I am going to cancel my order given it would take a custom length one to meet the AI rules....according to the "official" interpretation so to heck with it.

We don't need no stinking aero to win...just good brakes and big balls!!!

It's not a MM wing, MM is just a reseller like Tiger racing. ;-)

I might put it on later in life, but nothing for the current future, now you may need it if you wish to keep up with Matt and Richard. ;-)

I have no need any more. ;-)
