I've called everyone I know (Sierra, Cassidy, Appalacian, etc.)
No one has any. Rumor has it that size 18s have been removed from Toyo's manufacturing "list" and they will not be making any more. Guy on national forum says they are backordered until March. Not sure what is what but I needz tires or we'll be 1 AI car short in Houston.

Help a brother?

PS. I will pay a decent price ($330 a tire?) - I will not get raped on this ...so not interested in $500 a tire which is what I hear is out there.

Will 17s not clear your brakes?

You would be money ahead to go down to a 13" rotor and 17" wheel.

I could sell you 2 16" tires, cut them and shoe-goo them together to make one of what you need.

I appreciate all the advice and I've actually given it all a good think....all except the 16" arts and crafts idea....

Wirtz, what kind of shape are those 16s in? I need some tires for TT or track days....Since your moving to the duece and all.

Uh, moving to the duece does not mean you have to run 17's... or big brakes... or wings... :D

Does it have to be a 275?

Just got a set (date coded 07) from tires direct. These things are as rare and expensive as truffles. Supposedly Phils has 8 but did not hear back...
Thanks for looking BL. I think the 300+ would fit 10s fine but not 9.5's.

Anyway...got some...see you in Houston where we can all sit up late at night and search craigslist for a set of 17s and 13" rotors in a direct swap for what I got.

No larger than that, unfortunately.

I have 2 17x10.5 Cobra R wheels in my garage...if I could, I'd get 2 more and use 335s

Call Bryan Shackleford at Toyo's Only. He and I spoke about this specific size for a CA competitor, and he didn't make it seem they were made out of unobtainium. Said all he had to do was make a phone call, and get them shipped from the East Coast.

FYI, I did call Bryan the other day - he, like many other dealers were all under the impression they could get the tires until they tried - now that I've gone through the cycle, what I can tell you is that there are very few if any sets of 18s at dealers and nothing newer than 2007....there was supposedly a magic stockpile in Texas but no one could put hands on. Some guys were being quoted 500 a tire for 07s!! I am so unimpressed with Toyo after 888s and this I can barely keep my natural Canadian civility. Oh, and I've heard that there was an issue last year with 07s cracking on inflation - if that happens to the set I've bought I'm running Hoosiers in AIX.
