Anybody ever wash their nomex suit in cold water and Woolite?
I can't find and care instructions for new suit.
Have email into Sparco.
Dry clean only?
Help, it's stinky!

I took mine to our local drycleaners, and had them launder it. Cost to clean was $13.00.

DO NOT DRYCLEAN a driving suit - this was very clear on the Sparco tag that came with my suit.

I have a washeteria around the corner from me which has those huge tumble type washing machines. No agitation.

I use about 1/3 the qmount of woolite it suggests and wash in cold water.

Takes $2.50

I let it hang dry ....

Man, that's strange. My brand new (well, ok - it's a 2005 model) SPARCO says clearly on the tag "DRY CLEAN". Just got it back from the cleaners where they sewed on the NASA patch for me, total bill was $13.48 including the tax.

Mike, were you there last week for the Firecracker 400?

No, we flew in that day but didn't make the race. :(

In-laws have a condo on the beach, so we took the boy to go play with his cousins. We did get to see the launch of the shuttle Discovery, very cool indeed. Beyond that, keeping up with 4 munchkins and a 2nd degree sunburn and my in-laws for a week was the main reason for the bottle of "hooch" lol.

I need to get back to the race track soon!
