What does that mean anyways?

We will be running limited sprint racing at the August TWS event. Not all race classes will be racing. Endurance race is planned as well for Saturday evening.

We will be pushing for spectators at this event.

The question is, does AI & CMC want to be on the lineup?

Cool.

So what do you think the spectators want to see?

Shorter races that are more likely to be bunched up or longer races to be able to identify with the cars?

You gonna have a meet the drivers/meet the cars/meet the series in the paddock?

What's your race day temperature forecast?

AI/CMC is the crowd pleaser. Just watch the rush to the fences everytime we start a race. They come to see AI/CMC 'cause it is loud and good racing. They come to see the Miata's crash into each other. They wonder what the heck the 944's are doing there.

What Rob said.

I've always wondered why we don't try and get spectators for every event.

Do dogs chase cats???

I love that commercial.

Dave- Do you live under a rock? Hell yes we want to be part of it!
In fact, it should be a points race! June to Oct is a very long break during a season.

I'd vote no points race... NASA has scheduled TWS (Aug) on the first weekend for the last six years... Nobody asked me if my anniversary happened to fall over that weekend... The wife already told me I wouldn't get a hall pass for it either...

Then definitely a points race.

It was originally scheduled as a points race. I'm not sure why we would do anythng other than that. If the event doesn't happen, then it's a given. If it does as scheduled - points race.

My wife's B-Day is the 1st. I have missed the last three to be at TWS in over 100 degree heat. I thought the race was off this year so I planned to be in Colorado that weekend.

The above reasons are why we have drops. To cover family events that conflict. Miss the event if you have to, take the drops. Race hard when you return.
I think I finished 7th overall last year w/ only 2.5 weekends of racing.
