Does anyone have the skinny on getting a 94-95 Griggs K-member to fit in a FOX?? Griggs said it "wouldn't be the way to do it". However, I can't be sure that wasn't just a statment to get me to spend $825 plus shipping for a new part from them...

I know DD was looking at modifying his FOX MM K-member to fit his SN95 chassis.

I know Griggs and MM are apples and oranges squeezed into the same glass, but I could pick up a K-member for rather inexpensive right now (approx $400).

I am of the understanding that the 5.0 94/95 K member fits just the same as the fox. I have not done the job, so I dont have personal experience. I do know someone I can ask, so I can find out for you.

Should bolt right in...only difference might be the steering rack....

MM lists the same K-member for 79-95 with 5.0L motor....

they also sell the same k-member for 79-95 for a 4.6 motor....

Tells me the fox and SN95 are identical....?

My question to MM was about my MM Fox K-member into a 96+ chassis. They listed separate part numbers for those units. I have heard of people using the Ford K-member from a 94-95 to install a 5.0 in a 96+ chassis…

Why could I not install theirs like people do with the Ford unit?

They checked and decided that it would fit just fine and the only difference in the two parts were the upper mounts, I would need to elongate the upper mounts to fit the wider frame rails on the 96+ chassis.

I have not done it yet, but should not be a problem.

Cool guys, looks like I'll go ahead if the money works out for the Griggs K.

I'm happy for you too Marshall...

I recently got my KB tubular K and MM tubular arms in my TTB car and it is awesome. I cant wait to get it on a race track that has turns.
