Roll Bar padding rules revisted?

Since I believe with the new rule that was somewhat started this year, I may need to upgrade my roll bar padding for 2012.

Anyone have a real good idea what we are supposed to replace to be legal? All padding or just above your head?

Does the padding have to be SFI certified?

What is everyone else looking to replace their padding with for next year?

All padding that is required to be in place to prevent contact to the cage w/ your body needs to be legal (high density). In short - padding in the areas required to pass NASA Tech are required to be the high density stuff.
I don't recall seeing any of the high density stuff that was not SFI rated. I have seen this stuff vary from $11 to $17 per stick and only comes in half round sticks.

To be on the safe side and protect yourself from a possible rules change and or further clarification, I would just get the SFI stuff. That way your covered if they want to make it SFI only.
