I'm working with Stuart at Motorsports Development Group in The Woodlands to host a day of dyno runs and annuals. They have a brand new dynojet...in a couple of boxes. Its not installed yet, they're getting confirmation of timing from the install techs, and we should have that no later than tomorrow. At this point I'm assuming this can be installed over the next week or two and that the 21st or 22nd would work for us in this area? Let me know if that weekend is good for you or if not what works better (and we can look for an alternate shop if MDG cant get their dyno set up in time)

I'm good for the 21st. I thought Todd was trying to set something up with KartNation? Either location is fine with me.

Same group of guys, different company name. Kart Nation is for play cars.

Works for me. Not much of a choice really with MSRH fast approaching.

Gary,

Have you checked on the dyno we used last year at MSRH? That sure is easier than loading and unloading and driving all over.

Not seeing much interest in ensuring this is set up....you guys asleep or working feverishly on your cars? :)

Remember it isn't just the dyno. You need to have your annual done.

If you wait until Friday evening at MSRH you will be waiting in line for several hourss. If you wait until Saturday AM at MSRH you will miss practice and qualifying.

So CMC will not be like it has been the last few years where Al or Glenn or Marshall does our annual Friday at the track? The last two years we in CMC have not gotten anywhere near that damn line in the tech shed.

Last year we did tech at MSRH till the wee hours of the night. Emailed with Tony Riveria from Brass Monkey Racing, and they will not be available. They will be in Daytona.

I plan on being there shortly after lunch on Friday for some CBP. After that, I will be available until the wee hours of the morning for annual tech.

Thanks Marshall. Now we need to find a dyno shop.

The last two years we in CMC have not gotten anywhere near that damn line in the tech shed. Dave, yes we've gotten spoiled; but are you saying we'll be in line with the masses or can one of the AI/CMC directors do the annual?

I just want to know so I plan accordingly.

Houston Dyno Day details:
Saturday the 21st, 10am-2pm at Late Model Racecraft (11755 West Little York Rd., Ste. 106, Houston, TX 77041)
We'll take care of annuals as well of course. Respond if you're coming, the more we get the cheaper it is.

At MSR-H...we will open Tech as early as we can. I plan on being at tech to assist with annuals all day. I am pretty sure Glenn is planning on being there Friday and can do tech for AI/CMC cars out of the shed.

Doesn't matter to me. If AI/CMC wants to handle their guys through Glenn, I am ok with that.

Balingit, thank you sir.

Al/Glenn/Marshall ~ I saw some of the "stuff" you guys went through last year, is there any way for folks to help out? Could you have a "tech card" for each car and have more folks check the easy stuff like helmet/net/belt expirations/kill switch/exposed wires/etc. while they were in line to get to the pros?

Annuals are a necessary evil so the easier the better.

I'm also not a writer... I was asking if there was a way for the "non-rookies" to assist with annual tech. I.e. could I help walk the cars in line and verify expiration dates, for example, so the Pro Tech guys have less to do in the shed.

Printing my own form and back to my hole.

I plan on leaving Round rock as soon as the kid gets out of school but still wont put me at MSRH untill 7 pm or so. I will come by the track and work on annuals as soon as I get there friday night.
