bah, barely hurt the car it only missed one session. Didn't even take a whole roll of duct tape to patch up the bodywork either...

Jon's still running with us, was out at MSR-H. Hasn't been running as often due to starting up a new business with his wife though.

The car was fine...I had a concussion....oh, you're talking about the 'vette ;)

I think I got style points for doing a 180 and setting the car on the tire wall backwards - it was on purpose (split second of "with just a slight snap of the wheel maybe I can hit passenger side and just slide along the tires instead of t-boning them and flipping and pancaking like that other mustang") but in hind sight probably pretty stupid to have attempted.
Two things I remember:
1) The safety guys got there FAST and had me off the tires damn quick too.
2) that pond sure approached fast...glad the tires stopped me.
