Not shocked. Miller is a great place to have it. At this point it is a know quantity and a safe bet compaired to a new location. Its also good to book these more than a year out.
This give plenty of time to work out a new location. I really want to see it move around. Road Atlanta should be considered.

I love Road Atlanta, but I can think of a few better locations. Would be nice to only have a 1 day drive to Nats for once though...

I've got Miller already penciled into my 2013 plans. We'll see how things shake out :)

One of these days it would be nice to have it in the middle so if you go, you can compete against ALL of the best in the country and not just the east coast or west coast contingents.....oh well. Miller is a great place but honestly found the track boring after a while...and after a trip through the weeds!

No doubt.... If the event could be held someplace within decent days driving sure would help.

Austin would be awesome....

For us in teh middle of the world, either track is only 1.5 days drive....but for Kali folks, it's 2.5 days to M-O I hear and florida people to Utah...? I know Pantas made it but he's always the exception for traveling, driving....peeing for HEIGHT/DISTANCE contests.....

If I have to represent Texas Region at Nationals by myself for a 3rd year in a row, y'all should at least buy me some tires or something.

day and a half drive to Mid-O or Miller? Do you tow at 100mph or something???!?

Hardly. I made Cheyenne Wyoming from Plano in about 17-18 hours with a flat tire. Made columbus ohio in about the same time frame. Hell, I ran down Glenn, AL, Burch and Love on the way to Utah probably because Todd was driving. Want to say it was 6 hours from Cheyenne to Miller....?

Considering the rainy weather in Ohio this time of year...ANOTHER Hurricane! and the distance on $4.00 gas, NASA HQ really needs to find a more central solution. Not to mention with all the Pro's and Semi-Pro's showing up to ruin things for the little guy, and the economy, Nationals attendance appears to dwindle more each year. Sort of lost it's pull really.

What about Heartland Park? I'm not sure about their status + the SCCA but it is right in the middle of the US.

I know it is not as popular a track as M/O, Miller, R/A, etc but from a convenience standpoint you can't beat it.

I don't tow slow but I guess starting way down in Houston does add some extra time...
