Well, went to dyno today and as it was warming up getting ready for the first pull I got bit in the ass by adjustable cam gears (adjusting bolts came loose). Now I have to pull the right head and replace a bent valve...and put the old cam gears back on.

Put me as a maybe for MSRH...

Yep. Behind that other cheatin' bastard with two extra 3/8" bolts... in single shear... through thin sheet metal... loaded out of plane. It was about as equal as turning the car into a "tube frame". That's clearly why that Mustang was fast. Take away those two bolts and Mustangs can't keep up with the Camaro any more... :-)

It doesn't take any longer to tech illegal cars than legal cars. In fact, if you find something illegal at the first, it is shorter.

Also, if our tour guide, Clifton, had gotten the distance correct, we would have been able to plan for the 2 hour drive instead of the erroneuosly promised 1 hour drive. But in the end, it was neat to see Clifton eat the salt.
