Damnit, I'm far from being able to hook up my wipers for the test/tune. Already registered for it too.

If I use enough rain-x and fog-x and stay away from other cars would I be OK?

Relax. I ran at Mid-O once and had to drive while looking out the side window for the brake markers. You will be fine.

PS - Some helpfull advice...... when the spray suddenly increases...... move left or right for the pass.

I don't have wipers. You just have to go fast enough to blow off the rain. Or remove the windshield.

Or remove the windshield. That's usually a weight problem for a CMC car..

apply that stuff NOW - it doesn't work if you apply it when it's already rainy or foggy

- KB, did 8 coats of rain-x over 2 cars yesterday...

Anyone notice the track layout for this - 1.9 non-nascar3/4 config? Basically hang a left on the NASCAR back stretch instead of doing the outfield and another left to connect up towards the carousel.

That has been changed to the 1.8 course.

Frank, I should be there around Lunch time till close. If you need crew, I'll have my gear in the truck. I have some last minute prep stuff to look over on both cars and get our paddock ready. I got your back.

Also, known as the Twin Lakes when it rains hard...be ready for that if your doors and windshield don't seal well!

And a great way to gain emergency weight on the in-lap.

Frank tried that once with Mud and it worked. Sadly, it wasn't going to help win the race! LOL!

Mike - Didn't 10-20lbs of mud caked in a fender get us an overall win in the rain?

I'm reading 90% and heavy thunderstorms to mean there's a 10% chance of perfect weather. Should I put the kneeboard in just in case?

Yep. I added no mud to the car, that was all you buddy in Turn 8. Without the mud, we might have missed weight.

You guys still going? I'm on the fence cause I don't want to be trapped when the river starts flowing through the tunnel and pits. It's BAD there when it floods!

TWS has a back way out that doesn't use a tunnel. I've used it before. Brings you in between 5 and 6.
