Wade took 5 1/2 weeks, I'm more on the 5 1/2 year plan. Progress is being made with a tub selected and degreased, Glenn Landrum cage installed, suspension 80% completed, seat mounting done, rear suspension points reinforced, steering column orientation confirmed, welding and fabrication skills improving. All that's left is everything else with interior paint, engine and wiring being the next big items. Looking good Rob! Sorry it is taking so long, but glad you are still making progress. Let me know when you are ready for graphics. Will we see a return of the Lone Star #1?

If you ever need an extra hand let me know. Would love to help to learn how to put a car together. I'm really good at lifting heavy things too...

I know it's on the passenger side so not a huge issue, but the 3D X bars MUST have a lower 3rd bar in place for them to really work correctly in a serious side impact. Otherwise you are counting on the sheet metal in the rocker/floor pan to hold the "shell" shape together.

Otherwise glad to see you making progress!

May take another year to get the Wahoo out of Yahoo.
Cannot wait to see it.
Cheers.

Making good progress Rob! Looking forward to seeing you out there....not as much as seeing me out there though.
BlueFirePony is in Ohio now - I'll hopefully start looking into car #2 seriously this summer. Really liking the idea of a '68/69 Mustang or Camaro. My wife caught me looking at Mandy this weekend and she knew what I was thinking...
Think I might have lost driving privileges :/

Looks good, but if you drive it as hard as I do you may have an issue with the longer upper control arm reinforcement bolt. I put it in the same as you with the nut on the bottom but the bolt end that stuck out hit the control arm and eventually sheared the bolt. I reversed the new bolt and it looks to have a lot more clearance.

I did find that one was very close and added washers on top, but I think I will follow your advice and reverse the orientation.
