Guys - ever see a head get hung-up on a dowel pin? That's what looked like happened to me and why one side was leaking. There is a coolant passage there next to the dowel and there is not much of a coolant passage imprint on one side of the opening.
Found water in the valley as well.
Almost tempted to try again w/ a new copy of the old gasket and only do one side and not both. I'm just an exhaust manifold (6 bolts) and the head away from doing the passenger side. Not that much more work.

All back together less the rockers and intake. Waiting on a 5pm delivery of new rocker nuts. Mine seemed worn out as there was almost no drag when running them down on the studs.
Should be running again tonight.
Gonna have to work some big hours this week to be ready w/ the car and get my 40hrs in by COB Thursday.

Not sure how, but I had an opti die while the car was sitting w/ the heads off.
Swapped it out last night and it runs fin now.
Engine build along w/ R&R of motor, head gasket swap after that, and now an opti swap after trying a few coils and ICM's. Been a rough last 7 days getting this car together.
Forgive me guys if I seem unprepared for TWS when I arrive.
