Still sick about Kyle Busch getting screwed and knocked out of the chase by that brat Austin Dillon. If it were not for his granddaddy being who he is Austin would be lucky to be able to race with us. Bad sports weekend. Other than the 48 not making the chase, the Cowboys winning and the Aggies losing BIG BIG BIG it sucked about as bad as possible for me with Baylor losing and Kyle getting ran over while riding along at the back of the pack.

I drove Eagles Canyon today in my miata, the repave areas are pretty nasty, the transition is like a curbing turn 6 is a little tricky, the stiff high hp cars will probably hate it. Clapped out pony cars like ours shouldn't be too bad, it will be like WRC

I'm going to have to use Friday morning to get mine finished. New exhaust is installed and the car has had a general once over. Still just as dirty as at the end of R4 at TWS and the tire situation is the same.

I might be able to flip the tires Friday morning. Not really sure. The trailer lighting/brakes didn't want to agree with the Explorer so I will spend the most of my morning ensuring the brake/turn signal lights work properly for the tow.

I was missing a nut on one of the PHB bolts, hole wallowed out. All LCA bolts were not tight. There was lots of rattling going on. Also found the right rear spring was cocked in the hole and not seated on top. That likely caused a spring rate mis-match for at Least TWS.

That is a different schedule than what I received in the welcome letter yesterday. Not sure which one to go with but I would hope the one from the welcome letter is correct???? Here is the link from the welcome letter.

edit-I looked a little closer and in the bottom right corner they have "Last Revision". The welcome letter revision was 10/21 and the one Glenn posted was 10/24.

On a serious note, mine actually shows a 30m R1 for Thunder on sat, damnit that sucks if it's now 20m.

Yep-our time on Saturday went from 25 warmup to 15 and the races from 30 & 25 to both 20. Then r3 goes from 25 to 20. Add it up and it's 30 minutes less track time.

I while back to keep four races we lost morning practice/warm-up on Sunday and we went to 25 minute Toyo races and 20 minute inverts (if I remember this all correctly). I don't know when we lost the five minutes off the Toyo races. I did notice it at TWS.

Basic marketing adjustment when evaluating supply and demand. HPDE events have plenty options in the market for the driver to choose from so time on track is increased to attract folks from the competition. Racing, not so much to choose from.....

Guys, I have already had long conversations with Will about this very same subject for the blitz group. While it took a few hours of my time, Will was listening. He is also learning the desires of his customers in this region and can only do so if you have reasonable conversations with him, and prove you are here to help him be successful. I highly suggest you carve out some time to speak with him either at ECR or by phone. He is very willing to take phone calls and has asked us all to CALL HIM with questions and not spiral yourselves into an internet tizzie discussing this on a forum.

Call him. Reasonably discuss your concerns and I am sure you will see the value in doing so.
