Guys:

We're always appreciative of the RM guys coming down to have fun at our events, and was looking to do the same for one of their events.

The Pueblo race is the closest and appears to be on a favorable weekend to attend. It is 4th of July weekend, so most of us will have Friday off work already. Taking vacation days from work on Thursday/Monday. I'm thinking about going and was wondering who else might be interested. This is three weeks after Hallett.

Pueblo is 680 miles or around 11 hours of towing from the DFW area.

Thoughts? Interest?

Seriously, you guys need to do this. Pueblo was resurfaced like 2 years ago and is technical kind of like Hallett. It's 10 turns and CMC cars run mid-high 1:40s there. The front straight does double duty as a drag strip and there's only 1 turn that has something to hit if you go off. Plus our summers aren't as hot and humid as what you guys get down there.

Pueblo is a great track, one that all of the Colorado CMC guys really like. Please feel free to email me or any other CMCer for info about the track, Pueblo or Colorado Springs. Ask Clifton about the best place to eat in the Springs.

The next link is from 2008, there are a few change since then. Wall down the front straight and the new pavement

Definitely thinking about attending but more than likely w/o the car. We had some great times fishing at Eleven mile and Spinney Mountain state parks last year so it's been on our minds to repeat this year (and hit what we hear is a nation-wide top 10 spot near 39 mile road) and we could easily head to Pueblo for the race weekend.
