Hey all,

Does anyone know if there is a test session on Oct 20th? I saw on the MSR-H calendar it listed one. Are the test sessions controlled by NASA or by MSR-H?

A friend and I (both NASA licensed racers) are both hoping to shake out some new cars and wanted to run the test on Friday, but in both our cases, were not planning to run the event itself.

Who do I need to contact to see if that will be ok?

Thanks,
Jeff
- unfortunately the car I am shaking out is not the CMC car (yet!)....

That's a track deal.
Sat or Sun with nasa might be a little less money.

Friday test days as I remember it are track run and a few sessions on Friday costs more than a 2 day weekend in DE....get the hint!

Michael called and talked to one of their "people". The one day track session is $250, I believe... They are really proud of their track! With that being said, I'll see you guys on the track on Saturday.

If "they" are there, Michael and I will see them in the afternoon... unless prices are dramatically adjusted.

Has the run schedule for the 21 and 22nd been posted yet? I know 250 for a day is steep, but I only have one day to get away to test, and I am thinking if I just enter the NASA race, it would be $200 for 3 or maybe 4 sessions. But if I run the TnT, then I am thinking it would be quite a bit more track time.... We will see, I emailed the track to see how many sessions they plan to run on Friday.

Thanks all,
Jeff

the official schedule is not out yet but I can tell you unofficially how many run's you would get :) If you're running in AI/CMC its 4 sessions 15min practice, 15min qual, 2 20min races

1 day DE or TT is how much money vs. minutes on the track?
Anybody know?

That is part of what I was looking for. I will not be running CMC / AI. I will be shaking out a Spec Racer Ford. I was remembering that the CMC / AI guys got 4 a day, but many other groups got 3 per day?

Thanks,
Jeff

$250 is the price, and last time I was there they had 2 groups. 1 for sedans and 1 for open cockpit. I think it was 30 minutes on/ 30 off. Lot of track time. Could be different if a lot of cars show. We only had 12 or 15 that day.

Husband is doing the track day before the BMW race this weekend. Can update when I see how that one is run, if that would be helpful.

Mitch, I got the email from August and answered it. Something's kinda odd with my FRRAX acct., though. I was wondering if whoever had the video you mentioned would be willing to email me a copy so I can take a look.

Glenn, I spoke to Jason at UE and he's got me covered. Unfortunately, I won't be able to debut the parts next wkend, so I'll still be slow and loose. I may be able to improve things a little before then. We'll see. I definitely would like to pick your brain if I get the chance.

Grasshopper ... make it so.

Misty, do you have a graphic on the back of your car that says:
"You got beat by a gurl"

I would like for that to be burned into Matt White's retnas ...

MSR-H test and tune schedule:

Bikes - from the hour to the half hour
Cars - from the half hour to the hour

If there are no bikes, then it's open track for cars the whole time.

It was Martin and 1 other guy all morning and a few others showed in the afternoon. Tons of track time available.
