Got the ls1 into the orange car, looking for solutions or advice on the following issues:

Coolant crossover leaks? The two rear ports appear to be leaking badly, I'll throw seals at them. Curious of other folks have had this problem.

Radiator hoses and routing. The radiator that was in the car doesn't route very well at all. Got factory LS1 tubes, but they're over stretched, partially kinked, and super close to running on the accessory belt.

Intake tube. I bought factory LS1 intake tube parts and they don't fit with the hood at all.. I've seen what people online have done, wondering what racers have done.

A decent picture of the front the engine in an LS car would help a lot. A swapped car would be even better.

Thanks in advance dudes.

I plumbed my own coolant steam hoses using the trick Flow kit, but all that should seal the steam port is an o ring?

The LS intake is integral to the upper rad mount. I didn't bother with that and used an elbow to plumb it to my lt1 airbox. I'll post up the parts list later today.

I used stock ls1 hoses which work fine with a stock lt1 radiator. If the radiator is not a stock fit application you will have to make your own hoses or try find one at the parts store that fits

Here's the steam port kit; personally I found the fragola fittings that come with it all suck ass so I'd just get the block adapters and source your own 4an fittings/tees if you decide to replumb:

Sounds like you just need o rings though.

Here's all what I got to plumb the intake to the stock LT1 airbox on the side:

R90B-350-400 Silicone 90 Degree Reducing Elbow 4" to 3.5" ID Gloss Black 1 $26.02
30R25 Reducing Insert 3" OD to 2.5" ID 1 $7.77

45* coupler:

45* elbow:

3.5 to 3 reducer:

I tapped a hole in my 90* elbow ran this for my crankcase breather (you will want an oil seperator as vacuum is high in this area):

I drilled a hole in the airbox for the IAT sensor and pushed it in with a generic PCV gromme from autozone, find whichever one fits your sensor and make sure you have a longer, OE/Delphi style sensor that goes in all the way through the grommet so it gets airflow.

The 3.0 to 2.5" reducing insert is what I used for installing restrictors, I had a bunch of these 2.5" caps drilled out in 1mm increments from 40-54mm:

If you end duplicating my setup I can offer you my lower end of restrictors; I only ended up using 54mm and likely will never need to use less than 50mm; LS1s from what I understand will be high 40s.

Haven't seen any issues with coolant leaks on the crossovers. Just O rings. Pull the intake, replace the rings and pressurize the system-you can borrow a tool for it. Then you can see whats going on better. LT1 and LS1 radiators are the interchangeable. Parts stores stock the LT since its thicker.
Underhood shots are plentiful on the net but if you need a pic I can get you one tonight. But for better advice a pic of what you are dealing with would help. What have people online done?

Thanks guys.

Gonna swap some new o rings tonight, hope that solves it.

It's got an aftermarket radiator, but I have a stock LT radiator at the shop. Probably will just swap it.

Pranav, thanks for the comprehensive list! the intake on orange was a cludge with the LT. I'm sure I can make it work with your parts list.
