OEM. As long as it's adjustable.

I paid extra for the in-dash adjustable option. Can't remember the price offhand, PM me for the details.

The F-Cars get our in-car adjustable plates from Tony G and Al F on the west coast.

Tell them that Todd sent you ...

OEM. As long as it's adjustable.

It's SO much easier to put a throttle stop under the gas pedal that you can just pull out when you need to....you could put it back if you get flagged for the dyno and I can pretty much tell you that I doubt ANYONE would know.....

I am Kidding!!!!!

So Eric, please tell all us CMC racers the reason that you need a restrictor plate on your Mustang?

I don't need one and 99% of those responding knew it was a little humor mixed in with all of the other drama type posts out here. :D

Should I pre-print some protest forms?

I have a T-shirt that reads: "Tony G said I could" <==more drama

Lets race!! Abundance of Gatorade on-hand to pass out.

Eric: All kidding aside, Matt's got me thinkin' AI for next year. I'll trade you my restrictor plate for your ABS.

I don't need no stinkin' GT40!

PS- The drag racers have the bragging phrase "all motor".
CMC will have to coin our own phrase...."un-restricted"?...."all OEM"?..."sans SVT"..."nolo contendre"? 8)

Even with GT-40 and Cobra parts it might not be enough. 227/279 out of a fresh 306 is just wrong compared to a totally bone stock 302 making 230/300. Smoke and mirrors fo' sho'.

No smoke...no mirrors....just good 'ol fashioned Henry Ford and his boys doin' their thang along with my tweeks over the years.

Let's get a dyno day together and rent the unit for a day for tuning purposes! With 4-5 gearheads, a few tools & parts I bet we can high-grade most of the cars. All it takes is time and money!

None. The only one who can do it wears a bowtie.

Of course, that's complete crap, but hey, we're only joking, right?

In my case, all the King's horses and all the King's men haven't been able to put this POS back together again lol.

Gotta love the off-season, men out in the garage sharpening their wits...

It's a trick question!! It' can't be done on a "stock" motor with 100's of Mustang owners. It's all an illusion. We have Todd Copperfield and Adam Blain along with many other masters.

Todd Covini
11-17-2006, 08:54 AM
It's not an illusion.
I've seen Mitch Penn & Glenn Teller do it all the time!!!

It's the "stage" on which you chose to perform ... 8) Penn is the smart one, right?

Hmmmm...not sure if there is a smart one. I know one of them is really quiet.
Maybe that was a bad analogy afterall.
