Guys,

I've set up a YouTube Channel "NASA TX American Iron & Camaro Mustang Challenge" with a goal to consolidate all our video material so that unsuspecting YouTube surfers may be lured to our racing bait and hooked as potential new competitors. The channel has Playlists for you to upload American Iron 2020/19/18, Camaro Mustang Challenge 2020/19/18, Hallet Slip N Flip and Year End Video footage. Assuming I've got all the email addresses correct, all current AI/CMC racers are managers of the Channel and will receive an invite to join the channel via email. This allows you to upload and manage content. If you don't receive the invite it means I've buggered up your email address, so please let me know via text your correct/current email address if you didn't receive the invite. Once invites have been accepted Marshall, Michael, Al and Daniel (as chief cinematographer) will be upgraded to Channel Owners which makes them very important indeed.

Please stick to the playlist structure but feel free to add playlists to include older or other appropriate content. Please upload as much content as you can. Once we have a decent amount of content we can start to direct folks toward the site through other social media. If this pans out we should not only gain interest in the series' but also make the whole Year End Video footage collection a damn sight easier for the chief cinematographer.

The process:
Edit your race video as you see fit
Upload your video to the channel using the Upload button
Name your video sticking to the format R2 Hallet #65 Mustang McCormick
Add your video to the appropriate playlist (American Iron or CMC) with the correct year
Click Done although feel free to add appropriate descriptions and #tags

Hope this works out as well as it has sounded in all our fireside chats over the past year.

Mike you are now also a manager.

Looks like Randy and Heather have accepted their Channel Manager invites, who's next?

Just a thought: in RM we hit tracks more than once a year. You might consider cramming the month into the naming convention. This is a good idea though, I may have to steal it.

Check the email you listed as I have not received any emails. I checked spam too.

I realize this is a TX channel but if you're looking for more race footage, CMC in Mid Atlantic has their own youtube channel as well. We have at times posted videos simply to bust each others balls! :)

Looks like 6 channel managers have signed up. Need to get content uploaded, how much do you guys think we should have up there before sharing on other social media? I was thinking at least all the Year End videos and a good amount from both series with a decent spread of cars. What do you think?

The 2010 year end videos had no audio for me...is it just me?
And are the comments off on purpose?

And are the comments off on purpose? Yes.... and well, no. I know I'm new to all this.

I replaced the no sound one with a different one; let me know.

By default I had set the ones I uploaded as "safe for kids" which I found out blocks all comments. I changed that for the 2010 YIR, so you should have some abllity to comment. If it's a "spicy" comment, it may get moderated.

Quick update, we now have 11 guys signed on as Channel Managers and 16 videos uploaded, great start. Still a long way to go to make this as effective as we think it could be. Still 14 guys with manager invites pending and so far only a couple of videos from the MSRH event posted. If you can spare a few minutes to upload your recent videos it'd be great, remember the main goal here is to promote our series and hopefully attract new drivers.

How about some very vintage videos/pics from 2003/2004/2005? :D This is when we started the series in Texas (2003) - Adam/Todd/myself A look back at the nostalgia, but really need to make sure I can find the floppy disks first!

I'd like to formally request the upload of the Fox Mustang Dukes of Hazzard themed jump at Hallett from 100 years ago and Al's big fat Glenn induced drift at Texas World Speedway.

I do believe that video exists with the Fox Mustang (a.k.a. General Liebbe) belting out the Dixie tune - announcing the spectacular spectacle. It's even in slow-mo as well!

Hey guys just a quick update on the channel.

We now have 13 Channel managers signed up, 17 subscribers and 16 videos uploaded to the channel but we are a long way from setting the world on fire amazing people with the deft defying world of AI/CMC racing. Let's get some more videos uploaded and shared across social media. Remember too Will is offering a $100 discount code off entries for the video with the most social media responses.

You post that one up but did you watch it again? Didn't do anything for you? Really? The car you made that video with is back looking for a new owner and I heard you could pick it up for really cheap. Just sayin...

Man, I have one in there I forgot I even made. Tons of tough guys that have never gone W2W let alone took a car on the track. The ignorance abounds.
