TWS Motorsports Club has a 2 day event coming up on December 16 & 17. I give instructors 3 run sessions of their own and allow them to run in both of the advanced groups, as well. That's 520 minutes of possible track time over 2 days. In return, you will have a green and, possibly, a blue student. If any of you have experience instructing or think you have the temperament for it and would like to get some free track time, let me know.

If you are not interested in instructing, the price for the weekend is $250 or $150 for one day. Groups of 10 or more get a 10% discount.

The track is also hosting a barbecue dinner on Dec.16th. Friends and family are invited, so if you plan on coming to this event and attending the BBQ, please give me a head count to pass along.

I plan on taking the race car out on Sunday for some "sponsor time". My dad has been a big support and in return I'm letting him loose with the car for a day.

Anyone else thinking about it?

Come on, Glenn! Penske 8100s on all 4 corners...and I need someone to drive my car and then tell me the car is great, but I royally suck. And then let me do lead/ follows with them, so I can re-learn my car and quit braking like I have no handling.

its possible i could show up for the day w/ or w/out my CMC car.

I'll probably make it to instruct, but the AI car won't be there. I haven't touched it since the K-member went in and the front end needs a LOT of TLC.

Misty, I may have a guy interested in doing a work/drive arrangement. He's worked corners for the PCA before.

Robert, are you going to drive the truck again? I have a couple spots open in work/drive. I'll hold one for your guy, just let me know by the end of the week.

Glenn, I would like an opinion at some point. If you can make it, that would be great, but I understand if you can't.

Misty...I'd like to come out and visit one of the days.
I'll look at my calendar and let you know privately if I'm "avec car" or "sans car".

(someone's got to show Liebbe around that place!)
I imagine car-count might be low around the holiday...how many are you expecting?

I'm not sure what to expect. The Thanksgiving event more than tripled its numbers from previous years. The September event doubled its numbers. At that event, we had 34 green students, easily twice as many as we've ever had. I don't know if we'll be sparsely attended because of the holidays or not, but more than 60 or 70 cars, including instructors, would surprise me.

If I recall correctly, my car made 265hp at the rear wheels.

I'm tempted to pull the restrictor plate and just see what the added ponies does to tires, brakes and set up.

Are you instructing both days? And how many should I include for the BBQ dinner?

I have a problem with the tech form. It's way to easy to understand, you need something much harder and confusing.

Had a great time Misty, thanks for letting me come out and play on Saturday. Great event, great weather, and great folks.

I also had a blast pitting next to David and Jason, was a hoot giving Jason a hard time on/off the track and watching him progress in the Neon-blaster!
