Huh? You won't drive down to Houston for a regional event but you guys are gonna make the trek to Road Atlanta?

Ok, I hear RA is a really cool track but c'mon bruthah, what about MSRH??

Does that knock Daron out then?

Dunno - you'll have to ask him directly. We are not a team for 2007.

Will do. Hope to race against you and/or #5 car sometime this year! (maybe even at Nationals?)

If you make it to the Nationals this year, then yes, you'll have the honor of being beaten by me at Mid-Ohio.

And....trust me on this.....you'll have the time of your life. There is no other experience like the Nats.

I heard it was a good time. But, of course, you'll be the one buying the Gatorade as usual...

Maybe...maybe not. You first have to make it to the Nats.

I just found this thread....

I will definitely be there, Micah prolly not. My wife has a new camera, and will be taking pics there. She wants to drive, but doesnt want to drive herself there (and wont drive the race car) so shes gonna shoot pics.

This event will be a blast. Expect no less that 70 cars in each race group on the 2.5 mile track. It is a serious departure from the Texas run goups.

CMC crowd is usually small, 3-4 cars. Occasionally Mid Atlantic will join SE and there will be 9-10 CMC cars. Last few events were about 10 AI cars.

Fast track, and lots of fun!!!! My favorite. See yall there.

I finally registered. Look at the new pavement! With the extra traction, speeds will be very high. I'm bringing extra brakes.

That pic'll get your blood pumpin!
I thought it was surrounded by evergreens?
Do I need a spark arrestor lol?
Gonna need a parachute for the backstretch chicane.
Up the hill in the blind esses with all those cars is gonna be a friggin gas, man.
5 CMC (4 Tx, 1 Ms.) cars so far means good Toyo money.
46 in the run group (so far).

We can always count on Gregg Houseman CMC44 3X SE CMC Champ, Pete Urbanski CMC53 Chief of tech, and Don Trask CMC 9, usually. Other than that, no regular regionals that I know of.

Who is the other TX?

What's the logistics? Leaving? Returning? Staying?

Adam Ginsberg
03-08-2007, 03:11 PM
Boudy and I are leaving this weekend - he's stopping in LA for a few days with his family, I'll be in ATL all week for business. JB is leaving sometime during the week ( not sure exactly when ) - you two could caravan together.

Boudy has a motorhome that he and his family are staying in. My son and I will be staying in his trailer, returning back to Dallas once racing is complete on Sunday.

Come on, Mitch....come with us for a great road trip to a historic track. You won't regret it.

Sorry JB, fallout from my Internet rants of the past.

Thanks for posting the results over here, looks like you guys kicked butt and represented the Texas Region in grand style!! I presume GMac is team Army #44 car right?? Saw some footage posted up on nasaforums.com, looks like you guys did a great job threading the needle on that start.

Congrats again. Now it doesn't hurt as much when you "superstars" whup on me back home lol.

Wow, how many waving yellows and double yellows does this guy pass while "racing" and passing the cars around him?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-SxlToZVos

I read that he has since been DQ'd along with several others. Guess we aren't the only region to have challenges seeing flags sometimes!
