that can be checked w/ a dial indicator @ Nationals or locally w/ a protest form and the required amount of cash.

well then i'll remain speachless.
the shop put the pan on it before i picked it up. i'm not pulling the seal just to make you guys happy. Jeff saw it, Richard Painter saw it, and he is working w/ his son on a CMC car. he aint gonna let me cheet and get away w/ it.

I was referring more to a photo of the car's level of completion than to the number of main bolts.

never seen a picture of a long block LT1 sitting on an engine stand?
if not, its a sad site. if you win any races this weekend Todd, it will be:
1) a hollow victory w/out the likes of myself and Varner there to ensure you've earned it.
2) cause you didnt spin on the warm-up lap.

i'll pretend to be Al this weekend if you let me co-drive w/ you.

Trust me, it's a 2 bolt main. Those extra fastners weigh too much.

Fasteners? Well thats your problem right there. I thought you guys were welding the caps on like we do in Ca? How else do you think we get motors to run four seasons, right Todd?

I thought it was from running lap times like we saw at Mid-Ohio.

Al ... yer playin' wiff da big boyz, now.

Hey, I'm ok with that...can't blow up motors if you never rev 'em over 3k and you cant flat spot tires if you do your braking on the grass
