  1. Glenn, got the car back together yesterday, and it fired right up. The exhaust has some cracks, so I took it in to get the cats removed. After lowering the lift down, I tried to start the car. With the power on, when I hit the starter switch nothing happened. Released the starter switch and hit the starter again. This time the car turned over. but did not start. Hit the starter a third time and the car started but idled rough. Begin to back out, the car died. Started it again, and seemed to run fine. Drove the car around the block to my trailer, no problems and seemed to run fine. Power steering making some noise though. Drove the car in to trailer, and revved the car a couple of times. On the tird rev to ~3000 rpm, the car quit, and would not restart.
Not sure if the removing of the cats and welding had anything to do with anything, but I am going to get it back on jack stands tomorrow and get under it to look around.
If you have any thoughts or suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Randy
