Operations Services, Inc. is looking for a Systems Administrator. The position requires an individual have a basic understanding of full cycle systems development life-cycle, a proven mastery of troubleshooting techniques and ability to solve problems quickly in a high pressure environment. The individual must also have excellent decision making skills, especially when limited information is available. In addition, skills in Incident Management are required. Must be able to liaise with the management team, customer DELL and Oracle for hardware and product issues. The candidate must also have a good understanding of the DELL, Oracle and Windows Product Matrices in the areas of EMC storage arrays, DELL PowerEdge R610 and R710’s, DELL SC1435’s, Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Fusion Middleware suite, SQL Server 2003 and 2008 and Windows Server 2003 and 2008 in order to verify whether the stacks are certified.

Required Skills:
• Mid level experience supporting networks, servers, storage systems, operating systems, databases and application servers in an Oracle environment
• Oracle Fusion Middleware
• Oracle Database 10g/11g on Windows
• Oracle Application Server 10g/11g on Windows
• Oracle Database Recovery
• Oracle Grid Control
• Oracle patch management (OPATCH)
• Oracle Single Sign-on and Identity Management
• Oracle Application Express administration
• SQL server 2008
• J2SE and J2EE programming
• Moderate level experience in Windows Script Host (WSH) programming
• Moderate level experience in PL/SQL programming
• Strong Windows 2003 Server and Linux Operating Systems
• Windows server 2008
• Some experience with Veritas/Symantic Backup Exec 2010 R3
• HP StorageWorks Ultrium960
• Some experience with Dell/EMC NAS/iSCSI or SAN/Fiber Channel
