Who is the go to for T56 rebuilds?

Have an LT1 T56 that needs rebuilt...anyone got a shop they can recommend or a kit to purchase and instructions link? Ours is very difficult to get into gear for downshifts in 2nd. Upshifts are ok. Figure it needs attention now before it needs a LOT of work.
