I remember when Richard Gas Monkey bought one or two of these. If only 69 are made can you make money on it if you buy it?

Anyone know if Gary is okay? I saw that water was over the curbs at his house but don't know how much worse it got. I saw some post on FB but have not gotten a reply to the text I sent him. I know...
I got the 55 loaded on the trailer and hooked up to the motorhome today. I need a dyno tune......I mean a dyno cert on the 5.3........I mean 4.6 on Friday at the track. Hope it goes okay. All I did...
Sean knows we love him.

It's on the same shelf as the unobtainium.
JJ
First I'm shocked to find that Sean has friends.........then hoodlum friends. LOL

We made some of those in polished stainless a few years ago. I did not know what they were for ( the sheet metal part).
Save your ass and have the car shipped. I think I paid $650.00 to get the 55 from N. CA. to Hutto, TX.
JJ
Something may have been wrong with that car. It would go back and forth from side to side when someone would try and pass. Maybe it finally broke. Widest car I ever raced against.

I'm guessing it was like when I told my wife I was going to learn to fly in a 1946 Aeronca Chief. That was bad but when she went to the airport and saw me hand prop start it and then get in and fly...
I have learned the answer is BOTH.

Wow look at the second to last pic. I'm having a hard time seeing a leaking head gasket doing that much damage but I don't know.
With all my 4.6 issues I have never had pitting in the head or...
Water injection. It was used in WW in fighters.

I hope not many more guys miss the race this weekend because their Mommy will not let them race.
Sorry Pranav I had to get in one more and you set me up.

You are lucky to be able to fly to Denver with Southwest. For years SW did not fly into Denver. Prices were as much or higher as they are now way back in the mid 80's.
Jerry
Sounds like a blast Rob. You should be good to go for Hallett.
Jerry
Nope.

Took the 55 to TWS today and ran it for 15 to 20 minutes (yep 4.5 hours round trip). Ran perfect. Only difference in the car from when it bent the intake valves and melted the plugs last Oct. is the...
Not a bad idea....I need a dyno anyway but there is not one NASA will accept in my area that will do pulls on Sat.
JJ
I need a way to get on HHR (Corey) or COTA (way too high) or even TWS for a few laps. I do not want to load up the RV and all the race crap to find out something is still wrong.
JJ
I told the builder I wanted all I could get but needed to be able to run 91 octane fuel due to our annual Hallett race. I don't remember the exact number but I think it was 10.5 to 1. I had three...
No sir! Just six completely burned up plugs and six bent intake valves. I did not find any other damage. Of course I have not been on track yet.
JJ
The 55 is back together after six bent intake valves. Like Marshall the old fuel is gone and new 93 has taken it's place. I have no way to know for sure but the car ran perfect at Hallett and in two...
I want the 56 or the Camaro resto-mods. The 56 is the best looking car in the lot (IMHO). I like the big Caddy also. I will admit I really like the Charger RT's but I remember how bad those old...
I have owned (and certainly not as nice)
65 TR4-A
68 Camaro Conv.
69 Mustang Fastback
68 CT "trail" 90
