I've been looking at options, I might sump the new tank. I'm also looking at other options, Aeromotive tanks, fuel cells...

I would prefer keeping it as stock as possible, and simple... It's not...

My stock tank baffle...

While draining the tank with a transfer pump, I put the hose in the baffle... it was sucking it dry faster than it would feed into the baffle... interesting...

I remembered our conversation about your tank when my stock baffel came loose a few years back. I was able to drill holes and rivet the baffel in place and then seal up the rivets.

Everything new from Tank to fuel rails... and I'm sending the injectors off to be cleaned and flow tested.
It should be good to go after all this...

I'll be blowing off 4 years worth of dust on the first lap... everyone better say way back and give me plenty of room!

So, you may have analyzed the piston as the failure point, and how it failed (fatigue)... But you have to ask yourself, why did it fail?
Staying away from SRP in the future is not the answer,...

MM, are you running an SFI Balancer? If not, you should, sounds like the old stock balancer breaking the crank trick.

I think you can order individual lifters, call Comp and ask. I think I have seen many of there items listed that way in my wholesale catalogs, but not listed in stores.
