Add me to the "fix a broken engine by Hallet" list.

Lifted or cracked a head or something with the head gasket.

Steam purged the crankcase and exhaust, it was still running before I shut it down.

Hopefully motor out by tomorrow then figure out what went wrong next.

I was observing a couple of issues with the motor leading up to today that had me with a gut feeling something wasn't right. Now I know.

Kiddo said he wanted a green Mustang race car like mine for his birthday. They don't make a green one so I found a blue one and painted it. I'm a huge dork.

Kevin that is awesome. Will be awesome to see a dad/son pic of the two side by side when you get yours running

Marshall, yeah. It's a good thing and bad thing it was running. I didn't realize something was seriously wrong until I saw the huge plume of steam/smoke coming out the back. Clutch in and it shut itself due to water in cylinder(s). Hope the bottom end didn't get dinged up too bad.

Bad luck, yes, but you gotta put things into perspective. I'm 30, I still have my health, have a good job, and the only serious problem in my life is keeping a motor alive. Now if I can figure out how to keep a woman around for more than a few months...
