The good stuff is on the top row. But!!!!!! Use the OEM type nylon pads (bottom row - left and middle) and the billet keys (top row - far right). The brass pads cause too much wear on the hard parts. The nylon pads are cheaper to replace than parts they are protecting. The brass pads will wear those parts and cost you more money in the long run.
Last rebuild, Jason went back to brass.

He said for HD use, the nylon pads weren't holding up.

And the brass is softer than the cast gear, so no worries.

Does anybody have a preference on T56 parts suppliers?

I'm gonna try for some "quality time" with it this weekend to see what I HAVE to address.

D&D Performance was the "preferred" supplier several years ago when mine needed a rebuild...might be cheaper options now but D&D is still in business and ranks pretty high on a Google search which bodes well after all these years.

Matt found a guy in San Antonio that went through the trans in the camaro. wasnt cheap but WOW! It works awesome. I'd also suggest replacing the clutch M/C with the one from Tickracing.com....as well as their bleeder extension line. Totally better and precise if you could ever say that about an f-body! 1 day turn around and was around $1000 but it's built for several years of hard use now. here is his facebook link.

Nice guy, does great work and made it easy for us to drop off and pick up.
